Emerald Falls

Hello again to all my friends and family.

This past weekend Megan, Jeff and I went on a wonderful hike up to Emerald Falls. When we arrived at the trail head and got out of the car, I believe my first comment was "Now this is Crocodile Dundee country". And though the water was a little chilly, a quick dip in one of the pools was great way to cool off from the heat.

It absolutely amazes me that you can be in a beautiful place like this one minute and be back in the rainforest only 30 minutes down the road.

I hope you enjoy the pics...

All my best, Matt

P.S. You're gonna have a ball on this hike, Pat.

Hi Cuz,
I made a new password so now I can respond to your blogs again. ;-) Nice pics of the falls. What kind of little lizard was that..a gecho?? (Not sure how to spell that.) This has to be the LONGEST afternoon in quite a while for me!! It's like a ghost town in this building every Friday after 2:00. Faculty feel they don't need to hold classes on Friday afternoons!!
Love ya, Me
